Valencia Basket fell on the court of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan 90-79 in a
match in which the Taronja team rose twice after two great sets against but
failed to turn the score around in the final minutes. The Taronja team began
dominating the game but Baron's success and the points achieved from the
personal line put the local team ahead, which took off with three consecutive
three-pointers from Mitrou-Long. Bojan Dubljevic (21 points with only one
missed shot from the field in the first half) brought the orange team out of
its worst moment and improved sensations in the last two minutes of the first
half to go down seven at halftime. Mumbrú's men came out better after the break
and with Pradilla's energy they got close to two, but the local team reacted
with a great partial by Baron and Davies to abort the Taronja comeback attempt.
Valencia Basket relied on Rivero to get up again and get three to five minutes
from the end, but a last rush from the locals ended up giving them the victory.
